Purchases, Membership, & Returns

Can I buy individual products without a subscription membership?

Yes. Our shop is now open. We encourage you to check back often, as our inventory is increasing daily. If you have a membership, you can also add items to your monthly box for free shipping at the end of the month. Just note in the comments section of your order, and we will include it in the shipping of your monthly box for no extra shipping charges.

Can I skip a month or pause my membership?

Yes. If you plan to be out of town or are not interested in receiving the next month’s featured box, you can pause your subscription. It will automatically resume for the following month.

What can I return/exchange?

You can return or exchange any unopened items in your box. We will also provide a credit or replacement item if you are not satisfied with a product. However, an item is no longer accepted for return or exchange once it has been opened (think extra shipping/unnecessary emissions).

What if I want to cancel?
If you wish to cancel your order or subscription commitment, you may do so under the terms and conditions of the subscription agreement.
What is a subscription agreement?

These are the terms and conditions you commit to when selecting to purchase a three or twelve month subscription. They can be found in the Terms and Conditions.

What if my box arrives damaged?

Please contact customer service at solutions@ecocratesofamerica.com for a replacement box (if available) or credit.

What if there is a damaged item in my box?

Please contact customer service at solutions@ecocratesofamerica.com with a detailed description of the damage and a picture of the damaged item. If it is available, a replacement item will be sent to you, otherwise a credit will be issued for the damaged item.

Paying It Forward

Do you have a give back program?

Yes. One percent of all profits are used to create a scholarship fund to help up-and-coming “Ecopreneurs of America” start their own sustainable business.

What’s in the Box?

What if I forget to make my selections for the month?

A few times each year, we may offer selections in your box (i.e., color or scent variations). If you cannot select an option, your selection will default to the first option available for that month’s category.

Do you have any add-ons?

Yes. Our shop is now open for you to add additional items to your monthly subscription. In addition, we add new products all month long, so check back often. Individual products are now available for sale.

How do I learn more about the products in my box?

You should find a QR code printed in your box. Scan this code to read all about your products online. There, you’ll find detailed descriptions of the items in your box, as well as a fun, instructional video on occasion. In addition, we will include a short story about the makers of your products. If you still have questions about the products, you are welcome to contact customer service at solutions@ecocratesofamerica.com or click on the link in the description to connect with the creators themselves.

Why do the ingredients of my products matter?

The ingredients of your products matter for the health and safety of you and your loved ones. Unfortunately, many products today are made with chemically-laden, artificial ingredients that have been found to be harmful to our environment and our bodies. ECO CRATES of America strives to provide products that are free of these harmful ingredients.

Is everything American made?

Yes. We believe in strengthening the American economy. While international relationships are essential, becoming more self-sufficient as a country and strengthening our ability to meet our basic needs is possible. We love supporting small businesses and local artisans. By reinvesting your hard-earned money back into your economy, we hope to strengthen the mighty dollar bill, increase demand for quality products made without harmful ingredients, and reduce the carbon footprint in the consumerism industry.

How do I recycle the contents of my box?

The shipping items and content containers are specially selected to minimize waste. All items used for shipping and content containers are either recyclable or compostable. Contact your local recycling center for more information on how to recycle or compost your items.

Is everything in my box organic?

No. Not everything in your box is organic. The items shipped each month are carefully curated to ensure safe ingredients. These products are made with high-quality ingredients, although not always organic. They do not contain ingredients found to be harmful to our environment or our bodies.

Ship, Shipping Away

When does my box ship?

Orders are shipped on the 25th day of each month. Non-subscriptions orders are usually fulfilled within three days of your order.

Where is my order?

Upon shipping, you will receive an email that your order is in transit with a tracking number. This tracking number should let you know exactly what day your order will arrive.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping can take up to five days. We are at the mercy of the United States Postal Service. During the holidays, shipping times may vary.

Where do you source your shipping materials from?

Just like your products, our crates are made in America. These items are either recyclable at your local recycling center or can be broken down and used in your compost.

What carriers do you use for shipping?

The United States Postal Service and UPS.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we only ship within the contiguous United States.
